there is something not right about quoting artaud. you have to live his life before you can quote it, so it is impossible. i don’t think he was describing anyone else’s life. it is so easy to generalise other people’s life and think it has relevance to our own. we are not all equal. and the idea that we can extract things from other people’s lives to make our own more meaningingful, i’m not sure about it. i doubt the possibility of truth in tumblr. i think that tumblr is about being swept away :-)
